yesterday was an exciting day for sure. ended up going to futureshop and getting the bjork greatest hits album which is AMAZING. but also got the emily haines solo album which i highly recommend for some nice easy listening it's really good. the video for Doctor Blind though, hmmm gives me one more reason not to shop at Zellers. i swear the video was shot in Zellers which is a store i hate and the video was quite boring, and seemed like a creepy commercial actually. last night was floor unificiation which turned out to be chilling with the brie tribe <3 once again (aka the awesome friendly funny crew) as well as people from the B-lower unit as well and for sometime also heidy and carmin. unification was not a success but there can never be too much bonding. last night at 3:20 = saugeen evacuation due to someone setting off the fire alarm from using the fire extinguishing chemicals which are toxic so we had to get out for 2 hours, memorable, huge piss off at first but it was all okay after all and gave us a great reason to sleep in til 2 today :D. then we all "worked". the school part is just no fun but o well. don't really like my courses so far but hoping that it gets better. highschool did not prepare us for this really, seems like the profs are talking random to fill the time and not even to the point, what a piss off. tip: masonville mall is the shit woot. frosh week was great, sam roberts concert was amazing despite i didn't know much of his stuff he's really good live and front row makes all the difference, kristyn touched his hand (girl from the brie tribe). foam party was so much fun, memorable cause heidy and i froze til we were numb. endless chanting and cheering the whole week, alex and i made our voices more manly/lower to chant :P met some awesome people in such a short amount of time. soon i will be sick of pizza.

random stuff:
- bus driver killed my foot in the door as i was trying to get onto the bus he closed the door on my foot and then opened it and then closed it on my foot again, idiot
- fridge froze the contents today including the fruit inside
- microwave and tv will be coming soon
- tv shows: bring together people
- b middle likes b lower, they are awesome people too
- laundry takes forever and frosh week went through so many clothes, this week went through 1.5 outfits (changed my underwear though)
- i am addicted to facebook
- in this small world one of the guys on the floor knows my cousin, cause they went to Agincourt together and he's her age
- Shinerama fundraising
- the people on my floor are the nicest drunks in the world
- i am the hygene high commissioner , incharge of soap and paper towels
- the middle stall is never flushed
- i dread walking to class as well as class itself
- it's nice when there was something to laugh about everyday
- tomorrow is floor dinner to a restaurant and we're semiformal dressing
- dermatologists suck
- our room smells like alex's house and him and his clothes and everything, he claims vice versa, heidy claims half half

event wise not much to come soon, but then again who knows what will and can happen in saugeen

Well now it's september and in two days i'll be out of town on a work trip to london.
Today I've got to pack up my computer and equipment so my goodbye to the amazing summer will come now.
I don't really have dates to the events but that really doesn't matter, cause it was memorable and greatttt. Of course there were many things that i forgot but they'll pop up in my mind some timeee heres the list of things that stand out in my head.

Residents frolic in the snow in Clarens, South Africa, yesterday, while the rest of us suffer through a heatwave. South Africa is facing some of the harshest winter weather in years. thank you all soooooo much for everything that has made this birthday, the absolute best birthday that i have ever had. and 18, pretty old? mature? adult? so much for the "oh no, the more birthdays i have the less they mean" well it's not much of the birthday that means less, or the idea that the friends who make the years special matter more, which makes the birthday matter less, if you know what i mean. andddd to the friends: much much love. and this year yeah i wish i got to know people so much better beforehand, can't believe it had to happen in the final year, the closeness and ease and joy with talking to the great peoples that i am so proud to know. 3 days of celebration: tuesday, saturday, sunday. all amazing in their own way, and as much as presents don't mean much, they meant something to me, the memories tied in with them (cards and words in the cards too) yeah and the items themselves show me, you know me, and knowing you, makes me lucky. doesn't make sense, makes sense to me okay. cards, clothes i actually wanted, dinners, slideshow, hottest headphones, concert ticket, starbucks+tim hortons money thankss cause everytime i use it i'll think offffff past things. why is highschool over this year...but for now 18, i'll buy a lottery ticket too cause i am feeling like the luckiest kid in the world. :)
